Edgewood Goods began so that my two habits, making and buying, could feed each other. Working in my home studio on Edgewood Ave helps me stay hopeful and present, so I create whenever I can.
When I’m not arting I teach elementary aged gifted kids. There hasn’t been a book craved, science experiment supply needed, or perfect costume desired that I haven’t bought right away for my students. Being responsive to their immediate interests and curiosities provides some of the magic in my classroom.
Now, I’m making these habits work for each other by creating an Etsy shop. Any profit will be put towards more classroom magic. Follow the Edgewood Goods blog to see how students directly benefit from your purchase.
