Salt Creek Pottery is a fantastic shop and studio in Villa Park, and its where I have learned to throw on the wheel. Robert, artist and and instructor, offers wheel throwing classes over eight week sessions, and interesting one day workshops. All classes and workshops are offered at convenient times, He also sells his creations which are the perfect gifts. I’ve been a student of Robert’s for the past year, and while my pieces are not perfect, he’s helped me learn to embrace the imperfection. Isn’t that something we could all use a hand with?
